Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Sign in with GitHub, start editing. No credit card, no trial expiry. The free tier is free forever.
Can I export my specs?
Yes. JSON and YAML export are core features, available on every tier. Your data is never locked in — download anytime.
What are the limits on the free tier?
Unlimited specs, 1 workspace, up to 3 members, and 7-day execution history retention. No artificial limits on endpoints or API calls.
Is there annual billing?
Not yet. At $4/month, the admin overhead of annual billing costs more than the discount. If demand is there, we'll add it.
What happens to my execution history?
Auto-deleted by a daily cron job after 7 days (free) or 30 days (pro). Pinned/saved executions are exempt — they persist until you delete them.
Is this open source?
Yes. The codebase is on GitHub with an MIT-compatible license. Self-hosting is fully supported and documented.
Is OpenAPI Studio GDPR compliant?
Yes. Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. We store the minimum needed to run the service, don't sell data, and respect deletion requests.
